December Parish Council meeting

Earlier in the month than usual, to avoid being too close to Christmas for comfort, the next monthly meeting of Etchingham Parish Council will take place at 7.30pm in the Parker Hall next Thursday, 9th December 2021.

You will note from the Agenda that next year’s Budget and Precept – meaning your rate payable to the Parish Council which is collected on our behalf by Rother District Council – is approaching completion and the draft Budget proposal will be circulated via E Bulletin next week, before the meeting. This will include the resulting Rate we will all have to pay from April next year. We are reminding you that Public Time, on every month’s agenda, is there for you to come to the meeting and ask questions and to comment. The Chairman will explain the procedure on the evening but Etchingham tries to keep this part of the agenda as informal as possible, however time restrictions may have to be respectfully imposed to allow the other business of the meeting to be concluded in a timely fashion.

Please be aware of any new Covid regulations regarding public meetings, it would be considerate to wear a mask, at least until seated and there will be plenty of hand sanitiser available at the meeting.
